Geneviève Borne

Geneviève Borne is a television and radio presenter, avid photographer, music lover and world traveller.

Genevieve was discovered in the 1990s when she appeared on screens as a veejay on Musique Plus. Between 1992 and 2000, Genevieve  interviewed many of the most influential recording artists – from Madonna to Rod Steward, Phil Collins, David Bowie and the Rolling Stones. As a huge fan of Paul McCartney, Genevieve got to interview her idol on several occasions for special projects including in 2012 in New-York during the Concert for Sandy Relief. Another interview with the Beatle was broadcast on Radio-Canada and CBC in 2013 to promote his concert in Quebec City.

Daughter of a fashion model, Genevieve has been modelling herself since her childhood. During her teenage years, she walked the runway dozens of times and was featured in ads for hair salons, clothing companies and sunglasses. Her biggest fashion contract came her way in 2000 when she was chosen as a Cover-Girl for the local campaign “Simplement Moi”. The American brand hired her as a spokesperson for the Quebec market for a three year collaboration.

Genevieve also loves to host special events. She hosted Canada Day on several occasion on Parliament Hill.  The most memorable edition was when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll was the honorary guest in 2010. From 2008 to 2015, Genevieve co-hosted the music show Belle et Bum on Télé-Québec; a live show with music performances from the best artists of the moment.

Being an avid traveler, Genevieve has visited 54 countries around the world. She also had the opportunity to document many of the world’s most astonishing and culture-rich countries for the travel channel Evasion.

Her passion for photography is strong and her photographs were presented in various exhibitions and books. She loves to capture images that touch her heart and share them with people.
