Throughout his career, On-Camera Personality Hollywood Jade, with every step, has created a powerful name and image for himself across several creative performance genres: Dance, Acting, Choreography, Movement Coaching, hosting and Creative Direction.
Over his 20 plus year career, he’s confidently shared stage and screen with Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Kelis, Janelle Monae and Divine Brown. Having held the position of artistic director and choreographer to Canada’s Queen of R&B, Jully Black.
Hollywood has parlayed this strong foundation into a career of accomplishments including a star-making six season run on Canada’s Drag Race as Resident Choreographer and Guest Judge.
In 2024, there were distinct moments to celebrate: HOLLYWOOD was cast as an actor in the Canadian premier of The Inheritance, the Tony Award winning play about legacy in the 2sLGBTQIA community, directed by Brendan Healy with an all star cast of Canadian Theatre legends.
Then, we see Hollywood shining in Crave’s “Mark McKinney Needs a New Hobby” where he steals the show through heart and humour.
Hollywood has worked on TV performances, tours, music videos and award shows for some industry’s superstars: Snoop Dogg, Bebe Rexha, Estelle, Meghan Trainor, Keisha Chanté, Ultranate, Dominique Grant and Lu Kala.
Film Credits include “Queen Tut”, “Save The Last Dance 2”, “Camp Rock 2”, “Make Your Move,” and smash-hit blockbuster, “Hairspray.”
Hollywood empowers and gives back to the Black & 2sLGBTQIA+ communities hosting Pride Festivals across North America, RBC Black Diamond Ball, Impact Awards, Canadian Screen Awards, Rainbow Riot and Toronto’s Luminato Festival.
