Rosacea Cheeks

Inspired by music icons of the 80s like Grace Jones/David Bowie and NYC club kids from the 90s, Rosacea takes on a modern interpretation of gender fluidity and expression. She turned to drag after being diagnosed with HIV, finding self-love and empowerment in the process- reclaiming a skin condition that had previously held her back.

Today, Rosacea aims to create a community where approachability and acceptance is the number one goal, no matter what differences we are faced with. She has performed with international clients such as Glitterbox, makeup brand Nudestix, Horse Meat Disco, Hercules and Love Affair, The Shapeshifters, Sam Divine, tech DJ Nicole Moudaber, LSDXOXO and event He.She.They.

Rosacea’s Canadian clients include Embrace, Star Queens Montreal, Pep Rally, Common Froot, Prism, Bad Resort, High Sprung, Jems Condoms, Throb, Another Gay Dance Party, Promise, and Playdate. One day soon, she would love to host a drag art showcase where the performances have deeper conceptual meaning and make the audience feel true emotions.
