Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Eritrean-Canadian model, Grace Mahary started her illustrious success on the basketball court, at just 15 years old.  Developing a winner’s attitude and competitive spirit, Grace soon set her sights for success in the international fashion model world, a world where she smartly climbed to the top, walking runways for Givenchy, Chanel, Valentino & gracing the pages of Elle, Bazaar and, Vogue.

During her current & busy modeling career, she has transformed herself into different identities from an international fashion model to an energy activist, restauranteur & certified sommelier.

On the topic of career and now, motherhood, Grace’s creates a world of self-confidence and works, like all of us,  to battle any noise from self-limiting beliefs “it is so convoluted to think that we are always on; I have days that I cry, days that I doubt myself. At the end of the day, they’re will be people doubting you – there’s always going to be haters, there’s always going to be doubters, so why waste your time wallowing.”

Grace confessed and continued to explain how she takes time through exercise and self-care to re-charge. She counts strong family bonds for her ability to stay focused, in great spirits and grounded in her convictions.

Digging deeper into Grace’s world, one of Grace’s most proud moment includes her passion project: Project Tsehigh. PJT started in 2015 with a mission to provide uninterrupted and sustainable energy to developing communities in Eritrea, Tanzania, and more.

Believing in a purpose bigger than herself, Grace has dedicated herself to being an agent of change, leveraging her platform to bring her bigger visions to life.
